One of Romania’s most prominent filmmakers and producers, is the founder and president of the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF).
His directing credits include Love Sick (2006, Berlinale Panorama), Of Snails and Men (2012), and Why Me? (2015, Berlinale Special), while his production company Libra Film has supported dozens of award-winning European features and documentaries.

One of Romania’s foremost editors and sound designers, celebrated for her collaborations with the country’s most acclaimed auteurs and recipient of the Silver Bear Award for Outstanding Artistic Contribution in Film Editing.
Her credits include 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (Dir. Cristian Mungiu, Palme d’Or, Cannes 2007), The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceaușescu (Dir. Andrei Ujică, Cannes 2010), Aferim! (Dir. Radu Jude, Silver Bear for Directing, Berlinale 2015), Child’s Pose (Dir. Călin Peter Netzer, Golden Bear, Berlinale 2013), and Collectiv (Dir. Alexander Nanau, Oscar-nominated, Berlinale 2020).
Bunescu’s meticulous craftsmanship, rhythmic precision, and deep emotional intelligence have made her a cornerstone of contemporary Romanian cinema.

Ezster is the lead actress in Radu Jude's film Kontinental 25 which premiered in Berlinale’s official competition, where the film received the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay.
She has won the Silver Hugo for Best Female Performance at the Chicago International Film Festival and the AISGE Award for Best Actress at the Gijón International Film Festival for the same film.
